The purpose of the event
Traditionally, the National Charity Hunt is held on December 27th every year. On this day, hunts are organised simultaneously across all 19 counties in Hungary.
The aim of the partnership is to acquire vital medical equipment to fill the gaps from the donations of hunters and supporters to help heal sick children. Donations will be given to 1 designated hospital in each of the 19 Hungarian counties.To fund the purchase and donation of important & life saving medical equipment for the children’s wards of all 19 major county hospitals.
27-December
The particpating hunters take part in small game (pheasant) hunts at all locations. Arrivals will be greeted with a warm welcome but recognising current epidemiological protocols. A solemn greeting and the sound of the hunting horn will precede the charity hunt.
Following the hunt activity, a bonfire will be lit and a commemorative photo will be taken. In conclusion and following the closing speeches, the final results will be announced and the winner of the hunt will be recognised & awarded with the Commemorative medal of honour for their achievements.
Conditions of the participation:
As a hunter:
- Valid hunting entry ticket.
- Online registration is a requirement of participation.
- The payment of a donation (participation fee) can be transferred (to the amount of HUF 30,000) or as based on an individual basis (the donation amount to be at the discretion of the individual hunter)
As a participant in hunting with birds of prey:
- Online registration is a requirement of participation
- The payment of a donation (participation fee) can be transferred (to the amount of HUF 30,000) or as based on an individual basis (the donation amount to be at the discretion of the individual hunter)
Sponsorship option
Any legal or nonlegal person may support the charitable activities of the National Charity Hunting Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd. who aligns with & respects our beliefs.
Method of funding: registration on the ojv.hu website, payment of the amount of donation. Any amount can be transferred as a sponsor based on an individual decision.
