An excellent athmosphere and unparalleled success characterized The 1st National Charity Puck Shooting Competition.

The Csongrád-Csanád county Felgyő hosted the 1st National Charity Puck Shooting Competition, which was organized as a sub-program of the National Charity Hunt. The event was hosted at the Jerring shooting range and excellent facilities and a convivial atmosphere was enjoyed by all in attendance.

This was the first event of its kind to be hosted in Hungary, so Tamás Jéri, the owner of the Jerring shooting range and also a World and European Champion puck shooter, can feel justifiably proud for hosting such an excellent event.

Following this inaugural event, the National Charity Hunt has garnered considerable media attention in recent years, and with the current & future program, it can already claim to have secured its position within the Hungarian sporting calendar. It is appealing to on an increasing & diverse audience throughout Hungary & beyond.

The total amount received through entry fees and the total value donated to date is fast approaching HUF 11 million – all of which is helping in the recovery of children across Hungary, in accordance with the original goals of the charity.

Our gratitude extends to all participants and sponsors! With a special thanks goes to Gyula Sárközi, who dedicated much of his valuable time to make the event such an unqualified success. Special thanks also goes to László Gémes, the chairman of the Csongrád-Csanád county assembly, and Dr. Dénes Kemény for accepting the patronage of the event and for also making such a significant contribution the success of the event.

Last but not least, a HUGE thanks to the JÉRI FAMILY, for their for selflessness and humility, and for hosting such an exceptional event enjoyed by all & that has allowed us to help so many children throughout Hungary. Thank you for your partnership & generosity.

It was a hugely humbling experience to spend such an enjoayble day in the company of so many excellent, kind-hearted hunters and athletes!

The event was televised live by M1, TV2 and also featured in the local news & media.
